Open-source software

Notices, license information, and corresponding source for components distributed with yoyolingo.

FFmpeg 8.0

yoyolingo uses code from the FFmpeg project under the GNU Lesser General Public License version 2.1 or later (LGPLv2.1-or-later). HappyCalf Media LLC does not own FFmpeg.

The macOS application includes separate FFmpeg and FFprobe command-line programs. The Windows application includes separate FFmpeg and FFprobe programs and their FFmpeg shared libraries. The source archive below corresponds to the exact FFmpeg commit used for both builds and includes yoyolingo's build recipes, component allowlist, and an empty changes.diff recording that the upstream source was not modified.

Replacement and relinking

You may replace the distributed FFmpeg programs and, on Windows, their shared libraries in a copy of the application with a compatible build made from the supplied source and recipes. To interoperate with yoyolingo, a replacement must retain the command-line behavior and enabled component set expected by the application. This compatibility note is not a condition on rights granted by the LGPL. Modified or incompatible builds are not supported by HappyCalf Media LLC.
